What an amazing project this was! My client reached out because her dad was complaining about his fishing kit. She took note of all the things he wished his current kit had and reached out to me to design this bag for him!
This bag has one large main pocket with a custom fishing-inspired liner, two side pockets that fit a fly fishing reel, and any spare line or other odds and ends he may need quick access to. I also added an adjustable over-the-shoulder strap. One special feature that she specifically requested was for the 1/2 sheared sheep skin in the front pocket so that she could add some hand-tied flies she was making.
I decided to take it one step further and decided to make it removable, this way he can take just the flies if he wants to. I dyed the removable fly wallet as well as the interior of the lid in Dark brown; paired with this amazing waxy crazy horse leather she chose and antique brass hardware this stunning bag is one of a kind!
