The Filigree Sheath

This Filigree knife sheath is one of my first attempts at the traditional style of carving leather. A style that is admittedly not what I usually do. despite this, I still tried to give it a bit of my flair.

I decided to design this little bit of filigree to follow the curve of the blade. I kept the whole build fairly simple. I dyed the main body in a saddle tan dye. I used dark brown antiquing to make the carving really pop!

I added a brass snap to match the brass on the handle. I think I succeeded in creating a filigree sheath that has a nice flair.
