This belt was created for a gentleman who works on the plains. We wanted a slightly simpler design than my usual carved belt so we decided to only carve the bisson on this belt. The rest of the belt I kept 2D with a line drawing-like look.
The whole belt was dyed in saddle tan. Except for the bison to which I added some dark brown accents. We kept the belt buckle and the rest of the hardware as gunmetal black to keep with the whole simple theme.
I truly enjoyed the duality of the carved bisson paired with the 2D background. It helped the bisson stand out while giving a graphic effect of the rest of the scenery.
