This Journal cover was created specifically for a giveaway I did on my social media. It fits a standard-sized hardcover moleskin notebook. The exterior is made with 10oz Veg tan leather that I carved with the Three Sisters mountains.
The interior is made with a 2-3oz veg tan leather that was dyed in the color dark brown. The craving on the front was antiqued with a dark brown antiquing and has a few clear coats of a satin protector. the finished look is a verry classic journal cover that trully showcases my home town.
This project was a lot of fun to make, but it was even more fun to give it to the winner of my giveaway who just so happened to be a Canmore local who had moved away. So it really was amazing to be able to give them a little piece of home to take with them on their journeys!
