This was a very special project. I had to make it in secret as it was commissioned for a very lucky lady, by her husband. But I needed to find out what she liked without letting her know it was for her!
I named this purse after the liner inside. A bold black and red printed fabric with silhouettes of bears and moose. For the exterior, I opted for a very clean and simple look with classic boxed corners, a stitched-in chevron pattern, and a double snap. This purse is just the right size to carry all your essentials.
I wanted the silky oil-tanned leather to be the star of the show in this purse, so I kept it clean with very little hardware in antique brass and a detachable adjustable over-the-shoulder strap.
