This sheath is the second one out of three I made for these handmade knives I got. Inspired by ancient swords I made it in the style of the sword scabbards. I dyed the main body in black and tried to match the rest of the colors to the knife handle.
I carved a cushion pattern for the main body and added a band of leather that I carved a Celtic shield knot into it. I antiqued the main carving with black and I antiqued the band with green to make the carvings pop.
I dyed the back in a matching green and used green thread to tie the whole thing together! You can find all the knife and sheath combos I have available here:
