This belt was such an amazing project to do! It was made for an avid outdoorsman, who is an older gentleman who knew me as a child so it was really nice to create this for him as he absolutely received some of my crayon drawings as a kid!
I found this long woodland scene and knew it would not only be perfect for him, but it would also be a nice challenge for me! It features an owl and cabin, some deer, a bear, and Canadian geese in a long continuous scene.
I died the whole belt in saddle tan and added dark brown accents throughout to make certain elements “pop”. I antiqued it in dark brown, and with the brass buckle this whole piece ties together so nicely I love how it turned out!
